We are seeking an Electrical Estimator for airport and other construction projects.
Job Title: Electrical Cost Estimator - Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
- Quantify and price materials and labor for electrical systems, value engineering, and life-cycle cost analysis.
- Compile the anticipated cost of the electrical components of projects accurately and timely.
- Balance a diverse workload and coordinate the electrical aspects of the project with other disciplines.
- Visualize, plan, and estimate electrical work at a rough order of magnitude level without 100% of detail and documentation.
- Compile clear and concise cost estimates tailored to client needs, including researching prices and developing unit prices.
- Maintain cost and assembly databases.
- Lead and manage an internal team to achieve project goals, including on-time delivery of deliverables and producing reports that meet Connico’s core values and high standard of quality.
- Some travel may be required, including visits to conferences, client offices, project sites, or other company offices.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of full-time Electrical estimating experience required.
- Master Electrician License, Journeyman Electrician License, or Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent required.
- Proven track record of managing, leading, and creating estimates on projects, including: responsibility for timeliness of deliverables, management of budget, integrating estimate elements from multiple divisions, and professionally communicating with clients is required.
- Proficiency in estimating software programs required (IntelliBid, Accubid, On-Screen Takeoff, MII, MCACES).
- Ability to interpret architectural, civil, and engineering drawings and specifications required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including but not limited to Teams, Excel, Outlook, and Word, is required.
- Experience in the aviation sector is preferred but not required.
Connico offers a comprehensive compensation package with a salary range starting at $115k, bonus opportunities, and continuous growth opportunities. Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Hybrid, in office Tues-Thurs preferred; Full-time remote opportunity for the right candidate.
